Norwich Eco Hub
I joined Norwich Eco Hub as their event coordinator in July 2021 for a year-long National Lottery-funded project involving a series of workshops and seminars about sustainable living. On top of that, I also designed the website, posters, leaflets, banners and adverts that we used throughout the project, establishing a style guideline around the already existing logo and creating a series of easily recognisable designs.
The Eco Hub was a newly established CIC at the time, so my job was to develop the overall strategy from what type of events we were going to run, to who they were aimed at, how they would be promoted, what feedback we would collect and how we would act on it. I also had to create new relationships with the various groups, venues we wanted in our network, manage the budget, communicate effectively with everyone involved, and periodically report to the Eco Hub trustees.
Norwich Eco Hub successfully delivered 15 events over 9 months, some with social distancing in place, all within budget.
